iHub Fellowship Programme for young entrepreneurs

The iHub Fellowship Programme 2018 is looking to support young innovators, through incubation and acceleration, create sustainable, scalable businesses.

Help will come in the form of a 6-12 month customized training and mentorship program to enable entrepreneurs develop their business and technical acumen. There will also be a general module curriculum for the startups.

This program will also avail iHub resources, on top of taking part in its organized events. This will come in the way of access to co-working space, pocket-friendly meals and meeting rooms.

iHub is a Nairobi hub for entrepreneurs. Read our interview with Esther Mwikali to understand more about a Hub does. Fellows for this program will be selected in a fair and competitive process.

You can apply to take part in the iHub Fellowship Programme either as an Incubation or an Acceleration Fellow:

Incubation Fellow

  • Be over 18 years
  • Have a well validated idea or, may already have a minimal viable product
  • Be passionate and hardworking
  • Be self-starting
  • Possess an interest in technology (not necessary to be a technologist)

Acceleration Fellow

  • Be over 18 years
  • Be self-starting
  • Have a digital product or service that already has users or customers
  • Have an existing team in the startup
  • Demonstrate a business plan that includes a sustainability model
  • Have most likely already received some investment capital
