Law Society of Kenya
Gulf African Bank (GAB), a signatory of the United Nation’s Women Empowerment Principles and a champion of the fifth principle of the WEPs -Implement enterprise development, supply chain and marketing practices that empower women – has entered into a partnership with The Law Society of Kenya, the country’s premier bar association, with membership of all practicing advocates, currently numbering over thirteen thousand members. It has the mandate to advise and assist members of the legal profession, the government and the larger public in all matters relating to the administration of justice in Kenya. Through the partnership, the two parties agreed to:
- Build capacities of women in legal aspects;
- Build capacities of women on access finance and financial management;
- Link women to financial, legal and business services and opportunities;
