Africa Centre for Transformative and Inclusive Leadership
The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) in partnership with Kenyatta University, has established the Africa Centre for Transformative and Inclusive Leadership (ACTIL) which seeks to raise transformative leaders and build the leadership competencies of upcoming and existing leaders, especially women and youth in politics, business, government and society to drive accelerated, equitable and sustainable development within the environment of increasing challenges and complexities, influenced by both local and global developments.
ACTIL seeks to promote innovation and social transformation and to facilitate the emergence of a regional network of Leadership Institutes in developing standards and accreditation in Leadership development. Through evidence-based policy advice, training and mentorship, ACTIL empowers male and female decision makers to promote policies that are inclusive, equitable and sustainable while accelerating growth and development.
